Zahara Canvas Marquees was founded by Hugh Downes to offer a more considered alternative to traditional marquee hire.

Recognising the gap between purely functional marquees and overly styled event structures, Zahara was created to sit comfortably in between — providing canvas marquees that feel distinctive, practical and well suited to private settings.

With a focus on thoughtful design and reliable delivery, each project is personally overseen from first conversation through to final installation. Our aim is simple: to create spaces that feel natural in their surroundings, are well built, and work properly for the people using them.

Based on the South Coast, we work across private estates, parties and weddings throughout Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the New Forest, as well as selected events across Southern England and South West London.
